As always, I ordered a grab bag, as I really have a hard time deciding which one I want - all the polishes I have are absolutely stunning, and this order was not different. There was almost a theme going on with blue and brown order.
First polish I had to try is this one - Knot on my watch.
That is the case here. I can't decide if I want to describe color as a dark chocolate with some toffee bits in it, or as a coffee colored, but which ever it is - it is beautiful. I am so sold on those sparkly bits there. This one is totally season inappropriate, but who can wait till Autumn to wear it - obviously not me.
Shown above is two coats of perfection, and no top coat. Smooth application and fast drying is what I love about indie brands. I am so spoiled, that I get really unhappy when I have to wait for polish to dry.
You knew that I will have to do something on the top of this.
Because of the personal situation I am at this time, I opted out many of the challenges I would usually participate, and freedom to do whatever I want is amazing. My husband is having really good period and we all fallen into some kind of 'normal' pace at home, I am feeling energized and motivated to do many things, and I am using this time to play with polishes and recharge my batteries. Just couple weeks ago, situation was quite different, and it sucked all joy out of me...
Because I used quite dark base, I wanted to use something brighter over Knot on my watch.
My first instinct was just to use a gold stamping polish, but that would be too easy. I went in totally different direction, so I opted for Hit the Bottle - Smurf Blood - bright blue stamping polish.
Well, I thought those two are match made in heaven! Brown and blue is one of those classic combinations that I love so much!
I wanted something simple, and these days I am craving all sorts of geometric designs. There is something so pure about straight lines... so clean looking. I used design from YZW-N09 stamping plate, and to place images perfectly, I used my clear jelly stamper.
Thank you for stopping by, and I am wishing all of you a wonderful day.
Cheers!
