This are supposed to get me through tonight and tomorrow, but I hope you won't be surprised if you see another manicure tomorrow...
This one is throw back to a time when I cared for lavish New Years parties, where we would all dress up in our fancy clothes, and done up our flashy jewellery and best make up. I wish I knew all about nail art back then, but my exotic color choices in '80 marked me as kind of rebel...
I don't think that '80 were ready for my today's self. :D
I started with Tivoli ivory polish as a base. On the top of it, I sponged some OPI - Pop the cork on all but my ring finger. What a fitting name for polish used on New Year Eve! First I decided to do some glitter gradient, and I loved it - reminded me of bubbly... but could not leave it alone. Surprised?
Anyhow, I decided to do full glitter treatment for a middle finger and thumb...wow - sparkle overload! I was still loving it, but I did not want to blind you with bling, so I decided to tone it down with some stamping...
Stamping done using CK-24 plate for lattice image, and Mundo de unas - Black.
Using same polish I started with decal for my ring finger. Image is from Helen 08 stamping plate, and I used Finger paints polishes to fill in decal.
Finished with Glisten&Glow - HK girl top coat.
Happy New Year!
