Even though I did not appreciate this much in the beginning, I am grateful that throughout this memorable year, myself and 2 of my children had a steady job. I worked every day, and in March, it was like a walking through the ghost town every morning. Back then people took the pandemic really seriously, and they truly stayed home.
So with my job being essential service and all, I never missed a paycheck - my bills and my mortgage were paid on time every month. There was even something 'extra' to treat myself.
My children, dog and I are in good health, and that is also great achievement considering the fact that a one son and I were exposed daily to different people that were not in our own bubble. Mandatory mask was welcome even though can be annoying at the times.
I am spending a week at home just because I work for a fantastic bosses that understand the concept of having a break.
There is good food on my table every day, and my waistline can prove it. There is barely anything in my closet that actually fit... I guess I am not the only one in this particular predicament.
All of my children are living with me under the same roof - also a small blessing during the pandemic.
I was able to renovate my kitchen on the tight budget and did most of the work myself. That is such a good feeling.
I've got to try some new to me brands of nail polish/nail products.
I guess, if you look hard enough, there could be something good you can find even in the unforgettable 2020.
Now, there is no better time than today to pull out your best outfit, throw the confetti (or maybe not), put a good music or a good movie, and place a platter of the food in front of you. Put the champagne to chill (I actually went out first time in a week to purchase bottle or two).
Let's stay home and give this 2020. a nice farewell. Good thing that we will not see the likes of it any time soon.
I have a super pretty manicure just for the occasion.
Super pretty and super sparkly base is Glisten & Glow - Valliant Violet.
Has really nice formula and was fully opaque in 2 easy coats. I am wearing the top coat on the swatch above.
Images I used are on Maniology - M169 stamping plate from my last purchase.
For stamping, I used Maniology - Straight-Up Black, then I colored the images using the sheer polishes.
I purchased all items I used, but you are more than welcome to use my discount code SANJA10 to save at maniology.com.
Now, bring on the bubbly, and say good bye to 2020!
Cheers!
