First one I am showing you is one I done about week or so ago, before I shorten my nails.
On my ring finger, I used Prairie Crocus Polish - Cleopatra, rose gold foil finish polish that I also used for the line above French tip on my pinky, and over the black on my index finger. I received a mini bottle for the review from Tamala, the owner/operator of Prairie Crocus Polish while ago. This is Canadian Indie maker from Manitoba, and I love to support and possibly help out to the rare Canadian Indies. Besides, I love rose gold, so this is totally my cup of tea...
Everything else is black crème polish.
Interesting enough, I used the same stamping plate for the both manicures. Plate is by Nicole Diary - L06 stamping plate, that I purchased years ago because it is full of firework images. Love to have the variety on one plate, rather than flipping through my plate holders to find some different on the different plates. If you only knew how many plates holders we are talking about, you would understand why I love seeing the like images on the same plate, especially if I will use them maybe once a year...
On index finger, I added doth with dotting tool. Images are stamped with Hit the Bottle - Magna Opus (love this stamping polish and a fact that it is color shifting between rose gold, gold and chartreuse) and B. Loves Plates - B. a Black Hole.
Below, you can see this mix and match look that is perfect for the New Year's Eve.
As a base, I used Lucky 13 Lacquer - Lady of the Moon. This was also one of the polishes I've received for the swatching, way before COVID, that reduced my swatching to next to nothing.
I love this crelly - black semi-sheer base is full of gold shimmers, micro glitters, hex glitters and crescent moon glitters. It is inspired by Sailor Moon. This polish is enough on its own, and festive enough without any stamping.
For stamping, I used black crème polish, and all was stamped with Kaleidoscope - Fragrant Mimosa. Love the simplicity of this look. Both are done using black and gold, and yet they look so different.
t is always nice to have some options, and New Year's Eve is one of those occasions when we put our best clothes, put the bling on in preparation to ring this old, tired year out, and ring in the new, fresh and hopefully better year in.
That is a hope for every year, and last few years it did not deliver... Hope dies the last, so being an optimist (by choice) I still hope that new year will be much better than this one, at least health wise... Needless to say, I am expecting a hand surgery in first couple of months of the next year, and I truly need this to go without the hitch.
To all of you, at the end of this year, for the beginning of the new one I wish all of your dreams realized, and abundance of the health, as many dreams may get on hold if there is no health.
To a better year!
Cheer!
