My favourite for a longest time was OPI - My Vampire is buff. Then came Venice collection along, and I picked up Be there in a Proseco. I waited few weeks before I used it, and as soon as I painted it on, I thought - This looks awfully lot like My Vampire is buff... I wanted to do comparison then, but I was short on time then, and I just found some to do it.
Let's start with a photo:
OK - I obviously like the shade, or I would not reach for it again and again, but I feel cheated on. It is bad enough when you purchase dupes of color from different manufacturers, but is much worse when it is from same company. Did they just made double batch, put two different labels and making double money that way? Nicely done OPI, nicely done...
I also own another exact color from OPI, but that one is more like jelly, so I skipped it - this time though.
Well, I obviously painted my nails in pretty color, and I am not one to waste black canvas, so I used this for more of reviews... This time is some stamping plates.
Last week I got new Bundle monster set - Festival, and is cutest ever. Set contains 10 square plates and they have something for everyone. Geometric, florals, words, dream catchers, and few more thing in between. What I like the most, that they contain some smaller images that are ideal for layering, or for a galls like me, with smaller nailbeds. There are also nice bigger images, for ladies with longer nails than mine.
I went south-west this time, and chose to start with last plate in collection BM-S310. I liked gradient stamping I've done recently, and decided to do it again. I wanted to use my M Polishes, and I used Dancing in the street (purple), Fresh Perspective (pink) and Iron (grey). I just want to mention that first two I have in identical shade from Hit the Bottle... big sigh...
I have to tell you that my index is big disappointment, even though I was happy with other four - there has to be the one... Not sure if it is just me, but when I was done, first thing that came to my mind was - Peru! Peru is one of the places I always wanted to visit, but will have to be content with looking at the pretty pictures... Fact that Peru was cradle of the ancient civilization does not help, as I love ancient civilizations and always dream of walking the same pathways they did... Maybe one day... I will just keep on dreaming...
