I started with applying the three Heroine NYC shades: Sublime (light green), Mean Girl (neon pink) and Touch-me-Not (deeper pink).
Images are on Uber Chic - UC 12-01 stamping plate, and I liked that there were butterflies, flowers and lady bugs on the same big image, and that all of the above mentioned are small enough that I could place few of each on my nails. I picked up the images with black stamping polish, then I colored them in and applied them on dry nails. Decal making can be fun, but if you are impatient as I am, they can turn into a nightmare. I usually can't wait to place them on the nails, and sometimes they are not quite dry... That just ruins all the work put into coloring them, and my eyes are not what they been... That is one of the main reasons why I love layering stamping plates. That said, layering can get you only so far, as coloring image can give you more freedom in coloring.
All was finished with glossy top coat. I was thinking of applying the matte top coat for a milli-second, but in the end, I stayed with glossy finish. Matte top coat sometimes can dull the colors, and I prefer the vibrant to dull color.
I loved how bright and vibrant those are, and I really enjoyed wearing them.
Long weekend is so close, I can smell it from where I am sitting... now we just need to get through the workday...
Cheers!
