On the home front, I am formulating another (much needed) home improvement project. This was the biggest project, and hubby and I left it for the end, as we wanted to do as much as possible of the other things that needed to be done to make our house a home.
Then life threw us a curved ball, and sickness came in... It is totally terrifying that I will have to relay to other people, that I actually need to find a contractor, and I don't know any.
This project involves outside walls, and this needs to be done by the code. I can do inside part, but outside part is terrifying.
It also appear that I am on the fluid art kick, and I have one prepared to be posted earlier in the February, but that never happened... I figured I still have the chance to do so today.
Lately I am too stressed for the blog posts, so I do skip days here, which did not happen since my husband passed away...
Today's color scheme really appealed to me, and I certainly hope it will appeal to you too. Colors used are: white, nude, pink, plum and red.
As usual, I used my mat to create the decals, which I cut and placed on my nails. Just looking at the length of my nails here, and have to tell you, there is barely any free edge, they are as nubby as they get. You will have the chance to see that in days to come.
Ring finger decal showed least amount of cells, so I decided to add a two 3-D hollow heart studs, that I ended up filling in with white polish to create little bit of the contrast.
At the time of making this manicure, I had some mixed flowers in my vase, and I picked the white carnation as a floral prop here. Carnations are such underappreciated flowers, and as always, I am always rooting for the underdog.
I actually like them in bouquets, as they are long lasting, and can add splash of the color, or be in a supporting role to flashier blooms.
I hope you got some rest this weekend, and that you are ready for the week ahead.
Cheers!
