I could go any way with this one, because this cause is close to my heart. We humans are such an aggressive species that is trying to change everything around us, at all costs as it seams. Humans overfish, overhunt, changing the habitats, de-forest, pollute the same air, water and soil we all need to exist on this planet we call home. There is also introduction on invasive species where one did not exist before, which can decimate existing flora and fauna and get it to near extinction.
In addition, increased levels of green house gasses are slowly changing the climate and are cause of the global warming. As a result of this, some of the flora and fauna we know now, will not be here before the end of the century.
If those are not sobering facts, I don't know what do we need to wake up, and try to stop some of the madness we humans caused.
Animal I choose is Dragonfly. I always admired them, and find them magical.
Dragonflies and their relatives are ancient group, and we can say they are living dinosaurs, our link to Jurassic era. They are much smaller than their Jurassic counterpart, but rest remained pretty much the same.
Loss of wetland habitat threatens dragonfly population around the world, and that is especially true for the tropical regions, whose population is so little studied, there is a fear that some species will become extinct before are even named and charted for the future generations.
Not only that their habitat is smaller by the day, they are also sensitive to chemical changes of the water they need for their reproduction cycle.
As a base for this manicure, I used Different Dimension - Helix Nebula.
Images I picked are on Harunouta L034 stamping plate from the Born Pretty Store.
I used many polishes for stamping, and stamping over the images, I will not list them all.
I used Lucky 13 Lacquer Elemental Ward quick dry top coat.
Happy Friday!!!
Cheers!
