I know that my year was challenging - health wise: two surgeries, few procedures, cancer scare and polymyalgia rheumatica... With all of that there was lots of weight fluctuations, but it is what it is. At work, somewhat stressful end of the year, but all in all not bad.
My boys are all living with me, and that makes me happy. At least I know that they are safe, fed and that eases my mind.
My sister got married, and that was one of the best news this year, I wish I could be there for her.
In my little nail world, I am grateful for all of you. I shopped less most of the year, but kind of went all crazy last couple of months, and I may or may not have several parcels still in transit... Ah well, January comes, it is the time to tighten the belt, and rains on my shopping habits.
Today, I have festive design. For New Year's Eve we would dress up, go out, or stay at home, but we made sure to ring out the old and welcome New Year in our best outfits, with glass of the Champagne in our hand.
I still look fond on those days. My parents would prepare the spread, and we would be up till unholy hours watching the special programs on TV. When I was out, we would dance till early morning hours, and would have the blast with our friends.
Here I started with antique gold polish by Dimension Nails - Gazelle. This was one of the polishes I got during the Black Friday sale at NailStuff.ca. When I was writing this, there were still couple of bottles left, and it is on sale, which is always a great thing.
Over that, I went with streamers and fireworks.
I used images from Clear Jelly Stamper - CjS H-03 stamping plate. For fireworks, I used some of the foils that came in Winter Box from Clear Jelly Stamper.
That Turquoise foil is so insanely sparkly, just like a real fireworks.
I was truly happy how this came about.
Now, just get ready, and wait for the midnight, so say goodbye to this, and welcome to New, 2024.
