I wanted something bright, and I settled on this bright gradient- as a promise of brighter days ahead. Everything is so dusty and grey and icky outside with some old and dirty snow that is there since November... There is more of the white stuff in a forecast for the next few days... I hope with all of my might that weather man was finally wrong! So tired of this winter.
I used OPI - Put a coat on! as a base for the gradient.
Gradient is done with following polishes:
Illamasqua - Rare (yellow), Finger Paints - Silk Screen Green and Color Club - Endless Summer (blue). Loving this bright gradient. I topped it off with GGal - Green Suede. Green Suede is holographic topper that will transform any polish into holographic polish, and I used it for the first time here.
For stamping, I used my favourite black - Mundo de Unas - Black.
Images are on JQ-L15 stamping plate that I also used for the first time. I purchased whole set of those plates long time ago, and when I seen this image, I was bit disappointed... I thought that image is pretty crude, and I did not have intention of using it - ever. That is one of those buffet images that gives you one big image, and you can stamp how ever you want it...
I knew I want to stamp over, but in the same time, I did not want to cover up my gradient with lots of stamping, and this one fit my parameters...
After I stamped images onto my nails, I loved everything about this plate! Isn't it interesting how your opinion can change on the dime. Now, I want to use this plate all the time...
I may or may not have put an order for couple of acrylic plates with images with very similar feel... Ooopsie - my bad :-D ... I guess that no-buy is not really working for me.
I hope that this will brighten your day, and thank you for visiting.
Cheers!
