First item I will show you today is 10 ml Born Pretty Chameleon Starry Nail Polish BPC 003, item #37719.
I did apply this polish according to instruction on the website, and was recommended to use black base for the best effect of this polish. And let me tell you, what a gorgeous effect it is.
This is chameleon polish with subtle color shift from brilliant emerald green, over forest green and teal to navy blue. On the certain angles, I could almost see the purple as the last color of the shift. It is truly gorgeous. On the top of this gorgeous shifty color, there is scattered holographic microglitter that indeed looks like a stars scattered on the night sky.
on the swatches above, I am wearing two coats over the black base, and no top coat.
This is one of the polishes that are so pretty on its own. This polish is on really good sale at this moment ($5.99), and there is few more colors from the same series.
I went without polish on my nails for a 5 days, so I could not waste such a pretty base.
I decided to pair it with another product sent to me for review - School Time Lesson Course BPL-64, Item #39487. As all of the stamping plates from Born Pretty Store, this one came with card stock protective sleeve, and every time I receive the plate from the new series, there is different design of it. That may help you with easier search if you keep your plates in those sleeves.
Well, I learned something while taking the photos of this plate. I usually take my photos at evening, but this time I took it during the day, and contrast was not as sharp as I would like. Regardless of this, you can still see that images are school related, so there is everything you can think of when thinking of school - School building, uniform, bus, sign, and all of the different courses you will take - from art to languages, to sport and science, and that is where I came to.
When I seen this plate, I knew I had to have it. Not many of you knows that once upon the time, I studied Biology and Chemistry, and I graduated from Teachers College exactly two weeks before I got married. Actually, I gave my last exam - diploma exam, two weeks before I got married. It is different times and school system I was in more than 20 years ago... and some things might of changed since then.
Anyhow, my Diploma exam was in Organic Chemistry, so when I seen all of those chemistry related images, I knew I have to do a manicure.
I used white stamping polish for image stamping, and I did colored in some of them - could not resist.
Now, I know that you expected me to use matte top coat, and I aim to please...
Next few phots is with matte top coat.
I love both versions -glossy and matte.
