I work as Medical Office Assistant in Family practice, and I absolutely love my job. I love being around people, and I love people I work with, and work for. We are such an great team, and I am forever grateful for their support and understanding throughout this really trying period in my life.
My job also allows me to do what ever I want with my nails, and patients are all used to see something different every time they come, no matter how often. There is fair number of them that will come and ask to see what is on my nails that day.
This is such an trivial thing in big scheme of the things, but it makes them happy and comfortable and for a moment, they talk about something else and for just a moment forget about what their daily struggle might be.
This is job side of my manicure.
As a hobby, I went with gardening. I could do so many other things, and even though I am not very skilled or good gardener, I love to see my flower garden waking up every spring, and changing as a seasons change, giving me a pleasure of enjoying textures and colors and fragrances of flowers I planted. My garden started from the scratch, I had blank canvas, and zero knowledge what to do or what to plant and where. I had good choices for soil and sun exposure, and many of those that never made it... There is something so elemental in putting your hands in dirt and planting that gives me pleasure, no matter how much I dislike weeding...
Base for this manicure is Color Club - Fashion Addict. I forgot I have this polish, and did not wear it in ages. Fashion Addict is discontinued, but one of the ladies I follow on Instagram used it recently, so I reached for it...
On my ring finger I did job related theme with scrub top and some pills. Both images are from Q-girl-037 stamping plate. One thing I can assure you - My scrub tops are much more colorful than one I painted on my nail.
Flowers on my middle finger are representing my colorful garden, and many different blooms I love to use as a prop when taking photos for my blog. It is natural that I went out and had a photos with couple of blooms - purple Columbine, and pink Peony from my garden. Image there is from Creative Shop 05 stamping plate.
All images are picked up using clear jelly stamper and Hit the Bottle - As Black as Night.
I hope you will have some time to do what you love the most on the weekend.
Cheers!
