On freshly chopped nails I wanted something soft, light and clean looking, and this came out.
I started with Essie - Tying the Knotie. This was the part of the wedding collection few years ago, and I got few polishes from that collection. At the time I did not care much for the milky polishes, but they grew on me, and now I am obsessed, and want them in every color, not just in pale, neutral shades like this one.
Images I decided to stamp on are on ZJoy - plus 008 stamping plate.
For stamping I used white and Hit the Bottle - Gilded Mystique. This is possibly my most unique stamping polish. Color is hard to describe, especially as it shifts color.
I decided to go with matte top coat, as I did not want to fight the glare over the stamping, but that additionally soften up the look, and I lost most of the contrast there... Even though this stamping was really shy when it came to photographing it, it was not this shy in person, but it was definitively on the soft side.
I also decided to add a white matte glitter topper by Essie - Snow Alert, as it went with the theme here.
Personally, I prefer the lots of contrast of every kind, and crazy color scheme, but it surprised me how much I loved this look, and how long I let this linger on my nails. Maybe because every time I cut my nails, I loose some of the will to paint anything on them. Maybe I was just too hot and could not be bothered to remove perfectly good manicure that showed zero wear.
In any case, it is just possible that my taste changed just a little bit, and I am appreciating more the clean look.
We survived first half of the week, it should be just down the hill from here.
Have an amazing day.
Cheers!
