We had a wonderful, sunny day yesterday, and even though it was cold, we managed to go outside for a couple of hours to at least rake the yard, and remove all the dead grass, and fallen leaves that came down in late Fall, when was too cold and too rainy to actually clean out properly. Projects like this one are giving me the life, and make my blood pumping. That was all multiplied when I discovered that my roses developed those first, rosy buds all over, and tulips closer to the house are already about 2 inches tall. This makes me so happy because now I know that Spring is close. Let's hope that Mother Nature will not send us any of her unpleasant surprises...
Something light today, to break the dominance of purple/pink combos from last few days. Thing is, all of those manicures were done days apart, and I did few manicures in between, but it just happened that they got posted the way they did. I do admit that I was going through the pink fase, and everything pink just appealed to me.
My pretty base is 'Ard As Nails - Sage Rage from Seasonally Inappropriate Trio.
I purchased this one almost a year ago at NailStuff.ca, but unfortunately it is not available any more. Too bad, as this one is so pretty. In any case, my discount code SANJA10 will save you 10% off of your purchase for everything in the store.
I was feeling soft, and that reflected in very soft look. Not every look has to be loud.
Images are on Uber Chic - 28-02 stamping plate, and for stamping, I used Esmaltes da Kelly - Yoda (chartreuse ) and B. Loves Plates - B. a Cinnamon. As you can tell, I truly enjoy the layering images, as making decals takes more time, and I may not be the most patient person alive... This was a bit of the challenge, as all colors are light, and there was little to no contrast to help with alignment.
When we are talking about patience, it is a funny thing with me - I can't stand waiting for anything and been known to rush into things/situations I was not ready for. On the other side, give me most tedious task, and my patience is endless.
On that note, let me bid you goodbye, with hope that you also had productive weekend like myself that makes you happy, or that you actually got to rest if that is what you need. Self care is so important, especially now when everyone is running thin not just on patience, but on compassion too. What ever you do, be kind to each other, as we never know what some of us are going through below the surface and that mask we all wear these days.
Your kind word or gesture may be to some other person a life preserver - just be a star, and throw the kindness around like a confetti.
Cheers!
