That would not stop me from trying to create one on my nails, of course!
This was done while ago, when I received a Madam Glam - Calypso duochrome powder, and was playing around. At the time I did it for the collaboration that supposed to happen now, and then I did not know that I will have more Madam Glam goodies to show you.
Let me start...
I applied Calypso powder on my pinky, ring and thumb over the black regular nail polish. To apply the powder, I actually rubbed it onto the stamper head, and then simply stamped it on my nails. This method is much neater than me trying to rub the powder directly on my nail, and having all the powder stuck in between the 'walls' and the nail bed...

On the middle and index finger I applied the L'Oreal - Café de Nuit as a base.
I wanted neutral background for the stamping I had in mind.
Images are on UberChic - 5-02 stamping plate.
I am fond of damask like images, and can't wait for the inspiration to strike so I can use them.
Every image has its own time.
As I said earlier, I had in mind creating the rainbow rose, and I was pretty happy with the result, and my only regret is that I did not use black background, so they can really pop against.
After stamping my rose image with the Esmaltes da Kelly - Dolly (white), I randomly added a dots of Esmaltes da Kelly - Kaa, Moyra - SP. 20 and Heroine NYC - Touch-me not on the image on the plate, scraped once, then stamped over the white roses.
It looked great, but not bright enough, so I added the same polishes agian, in a random dots, and I really did not care if my colors are not on the same spot - in the end, that created some more of the color gradient.
Result was pretty, but it was not colorful enough. I decided to add some more drama by adding some Heroine NYC - Royal Blood and Esmaltes da Kelly - Bruce using the brush.
Now, that was exact look I had in mind when I started with this manicure.
I hope you will like my redemption of the rainbow roses, and to you I wish a wonderful day.
Cheers!
