This was done for plaid collaboration, and I wanted something different for me.
I started with Ella & Mila - Pretty in Pink. Not sure about the name though, it is more ivory than pink, but it is what it is. I wanted lighter color base. Initially, I was going for black and white scheme, but when I started, this is what emerged.
I used pale green sheer polish, which I used to paint the broad band with. I changed direction every second nail for more visual interest.
Then, I stamped plaid image with B. Loves Plates - B. a Holy Night. Honestly, I did not expect this to be as pale as it came out, but it is what it is. I obviously did not hate it, or I would change it for something more intense.
This was just too plain (remember, I am little bit extra) so I added a thin line with striping brush and franken (mixed by myself) orange sheer polish.
All was topped with matte top coat, and I absolutely loved this. Sometimes, even the best laid plans fail, but not necessarily are worse than original thought. I hope that you will like this as much as I did.
Have yourself amazing day, and I hope to see you tomorrow.
Cheers!
