Something spring alike, and bright to match it.
I started with recently purchased Cirque Colors - Sparkling Yuzu. It is really pretty, but magnetic stripe was not as pronounced as I would like. I love dramatic effect, so soft one is not really what I expected. Thing is that I wanted to have magnetic polish in a different colors, and yellow was definitely missing from my collection. Maybe I needed to shake a bottle little bit, as those magnetic particle can settle on the bottom of the bottle.
Shadow stamping or double stamping is my favorite stamping technique. It can give lots of depth to the look, and you can use it with dark color on the bottom for the depth, or with the light color on the bottom, that would almost create highlight effect. On this manicure, I used both of the versions. For the leaves, I used black as a first color, then I stamped over with the green. To get the depth effect, you need to off set the next layer little bit, to create shadow like effect.
I did same for the blue flowers. I stamped first with the white, then off set with the blue. that created lighter lines on the petals, creating almost a 3-D effect between the two.
Stamping images are on Major Digit - 41 stamping plate, and for stamping, other than black and white I used Hit the Bottle - Cactus Club; What's Up Nails - Jay for a day and Essie - Blue Rhapsody.
I loved how this looked, and the contrast between yellow and blue.
This morning I am having a wrist surgery. Wish me a luck. Not sure how I will feel afterwards, but I did prepare lots of content for posting, just need to recover enough to be able to type...
Have an amazing weekend.
Cheers!
