On this fine morning, let's do roses. I had some polishes I never tried, and this Messy Mansion plate MM07. I used China Glaze - Life Preserver as base and added OPI - Pop the Cork! on pinky finger. Then things started to unravel... It started as simple stamping manicure, and after I stamped, I noticed that I never used my new brushes, so I grabbed more polishes, and started filling in with more color. I used 3 different yellow for yellow rose, and hand painted leafs on both nails. As always with this type of things, I liked my right hand better - again. Ah, well. Here is shot of my lefty :-) .

Good afternoon ladies.
I always loved unique nail polish colors, and today's post is case in point. I love these two colors, and they may not be the easiest colors to wear, and surely would not be everyone's first choice which is a part of appeal for me. They also are not playing nice with other colors, so I introduced them and they are best friends now. First is Butter London - Wallis, beautiful, deep green with gold shimmer, reminds me of antique gold or even antique gilded frames around paintings. It have that kind of patina to it. I applied 3 thin coats here to reach wanted opacity, and I was pleasantly surprised when I tried stamping and it stamped well. That is always a bonus in my books. Second polish is Color Club - Je ne sais quoi. It came as part of collection and I was not keen on it at first, but for a some time now I catch myself reaching for it and thinking - if I only can do something with you... Well today it is a co-star. Everything is stamped with BM 702 - from Secret garden collection. Good evening ladies. It is almost bed time, and here is just a quick post on glitter placement. I got little jar of this holo glitter in a little gift box from OPI, which included 2 full bottles of polish, glitter and fine brush / dotting tool in one. I finally got brave enough to use it. For this manicure I used Ciate - Apple and custard - such a pretty green, light enough for spring, but not to pastel in the same time. I stamped with DRK designer 1 plate, to help me anchor the glitter, then I 'fished" out some green and black glitter from Sinful Colors - Cauldron. Everything is finished with Seche Vite top coat. I hope that you'll like this one as much as I do. This glitter is just amazing - it catches the light from all sides, and looks like I have mini - LED lights on my nails. See you tomorrow.
Good evening ladies. I ordered this polish by mistake, and sweet mistake it is. I lean towards stronger colors, and I was put out that this is such a soft shade - until I put it on my nails. Polish have such a strong linear holo, it is pretty on it's own, but I needed to add to it - of course. I used my DRK Designer 1 plate that came from the same place as my polish - DRK. This holographic beauty is Aurora by Jade. Stamped with Sally Hansen - Black Out. I could not resist solo shot of this, especially because this pretty holo effect.
Thank you for visiting and sweet dreams. Good evening ladies. What a great day! Today I received 2 packages. One was from Bundle Monster - Secret Garden plate set, I won on their Valentine contest. They are just gorgeous. Design can fit any size and shape of nail, and they are not too big to get lost on even smallest and shortest of the nails. I really like that. Image I choose to work with was on BP725. For the 'pond' I used this great Gosh polish - Lazy green. I wanted more dimension, and I drew random squiggly lanes with green Sharpie pen. Now the second parcel came into play. I received Creative Shop stamper from DRK. I did koi fish by stamping with Maybelline - Bold gold, then did some reverse stamping, filling in with Hard candy - Piece of papaya. Rest of the nails I wanted in cream coral pink (LCN - Vintage rose), but I managed to smudge couple of them, so I just applied coat of Piece of papaya. On my pinky I did some scales, and for that I used MM21. Topped with Seche vite top coat.
Thank you for stopping by. Today is my big brother's birthday, and I did this manicure in lieu of birthday cake. Long ago, when I was a poor student, I would bake a cake for him, but that may be impractical now, as he lives on different continent... If someone would ask me to pick one word to describe him, that word would be - music. Music is such an essential part of him, and started with him reading sheet music when he was 4 years old! It is funny that he was not able to sign his name, but could produce music... Piano keys are for his first instrument. Strings are for his love for guitars. Through the years, he changed many of them: from cheep second hand knock offs to custom made and to his beloved Gibson Les Paul. Numerous live performances and hard rock bands, he rocked his way to present. There is not much more to say but: Happy Birthday to my rocking brother and many more to come! I used this "manly" shade of Gosh - Drizzle, stamped with Konad - black and Born Pretty Store plate BP47, MoYou Greek Mithology Collection plates 01 and04.
Hello lovelies.
On menu today is matte nude. Polish is L'Oreal - Liya's nude. Color remind me of hot cocoa. I added gradient in gold - Nicole by OPI - Carrie'd away. I always get upset when my stamping get smeared with application of matte top coat. This time I tried to reverse order. I first put matte top coat, in this case LÒreal - Matte velvet, and then I stamped with Maybelline - Bold gold. Loving results. Image I used is on Born Pretty Store plate BP36. Thank you for stopping, and enjoy your weekend! I've done this manicure few weeks ago, and something was bugging me about it. I wanted to use my Messy Mansion plate MM14, and this is what I came up with. Used quite few polishes: Ciate - Chinchilla, Sally Hansen - Brisk Blue, Wool knot and Black out, and Color Club - Nail Robi. Took me few months, but I finally figured out how to watermark my photographs. Thank you for stopping.
Good morning great ladies. It's Friday!!! Yeah! For this Friday, here is simple manicure. I used Finger paints - Dance until dawn. I just love that deep, royal purple. I paired this color with gold - another royal-like color combination. On my pinky is Nicole by OPI - Carrie'd away and for stamping I used Maybelline - Bold gold. I have to admit, this is my BEST stamping gold polish, and I bought quite a few polishes, trust me. I even ordered special stamping one from Born Pretty Store which is gorgeous, but it doesn't came close to opacity to this one. I used new Born Pretty large stamping plate BP-L003. What to tell you - Oh, my. That plate have 15 images, and I love every one of them. Hardest part was to choose which one to use... and their transfer is perfect! Happy Friday, and thank you for visiting.
Hello lovely ladies.
On my last visit to Wal-Mart I picked up couple of polishes i'll introduce to you. Maybe you are familiar with them, but I wasn't. Base for tonight manicure is Flower - Bluebell of the Ball. From all of the pretty cream polishes on the display, I went straight for this one. It is blue-grey mix, and I did not have this particular shade at home. ;-) Second polish is Hard Candy - pop-arazzi. It is not your everyday glitter. Looks like multicolored confetti, and I can see myself wearing this polish in the Summer. Stamped with QA16 plate and Ciate - Boudoir. Good morning lovelies!
Such a beautiful Sunday morning, and even though there was a frost all over earlier this morning, sun is out and everything is right in the world. On a such a great day, I felt like doing flowers on my nails. I made decal using my Born Pretty plate BP54. I was afraid it would look too plain and I stamped nails with design from BP43.. All polishes used are CIate minis: light pink is Amazing grace, yellow is Loop the loop, green - Tweed and tails, light purple is Sugar plum, dark purple - Talent scout, and glitter polish - Party shoes. Enjoy your Sunday. Thank you for visiting. Happy Valentine to all of you beautiful ladies!
For today I wanted to try negative space manicure. I seen some really pretty manis like this, and some unfortunate ones, and I hope that this one will go into the first category. This is quite minimalistic look for me, and I was fighting an urge to stamp all over this. Real star of this manicure is Ciate - Boudoir. This is one of the polished my husband got me for Valentine (he knows what will warm my heart) and seem fit to use today. I used some stripping tape in black for contrast and triangular rhinestone (I did not have any red hearts). I am still on the fence with this one. This is it from me for today. Thank you for stopping by. Hi everyone.
How is your day going? Just having a lunch and decided to post my nails from yesterday. I used Born Pretty plate BP46. I did told you that I own quite a few gray polishes, and I used couple of them here. Darker is Maybelline - Impeccable greys, and lighter shade is China Glaze - Five rules. I painted in Sally Hansen - Hot Wasabi. I have couple of different color from Sally Hansen neon series, and I did not use them as I found them to be too sheer. Well, they work marvelous for led lighting technique, and I am sure glad to have them handy. This is from me today. Thank you for stopping by. Hi everyone!
