Gorgeous base is by 'Ard As Nails - Crunchy Leaves - super pretty orange tinged red crelly, full of color shifting flakies. It is intense and bright, and totally my kind of color.
I purchased it at NailStuff.ca, and first time buyers can use my one time discount code SANJA10 to save extra 10% even on the sale items. I love supporting my fellow Canadians, and this is extra easy when owner is as nice as Victoria is.
Even though matching name of the polish with manicure is my superpower, I decided to go in different direction with this one.
Image I used is on Hit the Bottle - Material World 01 stamping plate. This is actually a damask image, that I reduced a bit, as it is too big for my nails. I stamped every second nail in a way of the full image, while two nails got the French tip look by isolating the top of the image, and stamping it on the tips only.
I stamped image first with Hit the Bottle - From The Ground Up - mustard yellow stamping polish, but I found that It looked dull next to the brilliance of Crunchy Leaves.
To fix that, I added another layer of stamping that I offset a tiny bit, also with Hit the Bottle stamping polish - Magna Opus. All three Hit the Bottle items I purchased at Polish Pickup, and next is coming on Friday... had extensive list there, not sure if I will be able to pick them all, but it does feel good to at least window shop.
When I was done, this actually reminded me of opulent gold filigree work. I love jewelry, and delicate goldsmith is especially pretty.
Now your got me red handed... Usually I prepare the post before I go to bed, then it is posted right after the midnight... I just clicked on the wrong button, and it got posted right away, in the middle of the writing... oopsie! Ah well, close enough.
Have yourself an amazing day.
Cheers!
