It it really hot in here now - Summer finally arrived, and we went from 17*C to 32*C in two day span... takes a body a few days to adjust to this.
This also means that lots of people would be camping, especially considering that coming weekend is a long weekend - it is Canada Day on Friday. Camping grounds means that there may be some open fires, and I am asking everyone to exercise the caution, as we do not want to start the weekend with some forest fires. It is so nice to breathe the smoke free air, and I hope to stay like this for a while.
I did this manicure and even though I was using the flower image, and was going for the floral look, I ended up with something that was looking more than a fire than a flower. It must be my color choices... Whatever it is, I am going with the camp fire here, and flying ambers...
My base is by MJ Lacquer - Tears of Joy. This is my first polish from this brand, and I got it from Polish Pickup in January. White crelly base is full of color shifting flakies and honestly, polishes like this are great just on their own. You know that I always add something, but that is because silly me can't just wear solid polish...
Colors I used for stamping are actually colors I've seen of the flakies in this pretty polish. I often pick stamping colors like that. More often than not I will match, even though some days I go with the contrast. Whatever I feel it would go better at the moment.
Images are on Uber Chic - UC 12-03 stamping plate. I added some black and gold dots afterwards. You can definitively tell which stamping plates are my favorite, I go back to use them over and over again.
If my nails were little bit longer, it would be easier to see the flower, but I am cool with unintended fire effect.
Have yourself a lovely day, be and stay safe.
Cheers!
