Today I have an animal I never before did on my nails - sea lion. Sea lions live on the Western shores of North America, from British Columbia (Canada) to Mexico. They gather in a large colonies on the rocks and sandy shores. Interesting fact is that they are adept to move on land and in the water. They move into the water to feed and to cool off as needed. Killer whales and sharks are natural predators for the sea lions.
I started with beautiful multi chrome polish by 'Ard as Nails - New Year, New Me, gifted to me by sweet nail friend that visited me couple of weeks ago. She purchased this at NailStuff.ca, and the cutest thing was when she told me that she contacted the owner, as she did not want to get me something I already have. I thought that was so sweet from both of them, and I absolutely love the both shades they picked up for me, and I will soon (hopefully) wear the other polish that was gifted to me.
Image is on Maniology - BM-S156 stamping plate, and it is possible my only image of the sea lion, but I could be wrong... I surely did not go through all the stamping plates I have, but was aiming at those that I suspected of having the image I was looking for.
I picked up the image using Maniology - Bam! White stamping polish, then I colored in the cute sea lion image, with rough mix of brown shades, so it would appear more life like.
I added some white waves on my tips and all was topped with glossy top coat.
In the end, I was really pleased how soft this ended up looking.
Keeping it short, so wishing you all a great day.
Cheers!
