For today, I just got something out of the vault - manicure that I did few months ago, but never got around posting. There are many reasons why something is not posted - you do it for something specific and then you change your mind, or you feel especially creative and can't change the polish often enough, or like this one, it just did not came out like I thought it would...
In any case, it is here now. I needed something bright to cheer me up.
Gorgeous base polish was love at the first swatch. I am wearing A England - Golden Dome.
As usual, A England delivered gorgeous color and amazing formula that is smooth and easy to apply, and fully opaque in one full coat.
Image is on Nicole Diary - L07. I first stamped with dark green, then with white. I am not sure what kind of effect I was trying to create, but apparently it was not it.
Depending of the day, creative process can take different routes, and following is happening to me more often than I would like to admit. I would sit down with the clear idea in my head, and would change it on the spot, because my eyes landed on the polish that would not go with my idea...
Another time, I would sit with the clear idea, but creative process would take the life of its own, and I would end up with something totally different...
Last one, I think happened here - Idea was not as clear as it should be. You have that fleeting picture in your head of what you want to achieve, but because you are getting just flashes of it, realization of the idea goes kind of wrong. You can't really point the finger where it went wrong, as it was never clear, but at the same time, you know it is not what you imagined...
I guess, that is why it is called creative process, because all you need is a grain of the idea, and you need to trust the process. Some days will be success, and some days will leave lots to be desired. Just like everything else in life.
I hope I did not put you to sleep with my musings...
Have an amazing day, and that you just like myself looking forward to the weekend.
Cheers!
