Kads are not new to me plates, I own several, and just few days ago I actually used one of the plates I purchased for a very colorful manicure.
First plate I used is Kads Ocean 006.
We have some shadow images, and some are made for reverse stamping, many mermaid images and few other sea creatures.
As I said, I purchased about 20 plates last year, and still have to go through all of them. There is no surprise to me that all of the plates have excellent pick up, and images are very suitable for the shorter nails, even though some images are so big, you definitely can't go wrong for a super long nails.
Just the other day I was commenting that I do not do enough gradient manicures, so I made a decision to make a gradient that looks like sunshine trying to reach deep down the big blue ocean.
For gradient I used: Hit the Bottle - Lemon Meringue Fizz, Kleancolor - Metallic Jungle and Beauty Big Bang - Cobalt blue metallic stamping polish.
Gradient was topped with Kleancolor - Chunky Holo Teal - topper full of the iridescent, color shifting glitters that color shift from gold over green to orange and red.
For stamping, I used Mini Mani Moo - Black stamping polish and old Avon - Metallic Blue regular polish as a first layer of the mermaid image.
As it looks from my manicure, this little mermaid took her pet jellyfish for the swim. They been looking for some sea shells for a new necklace for the mermaid. I really do have an overactive imagination!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Cheers!
