That is the reason why I never stop trying, and today I have a mandala like manicure prepared with the help of another cute plate sent to me by Emily at Born Pretty Store.
Plate I used is this Nicole Diary - 093 stamping plate, item #46447.
I went out of my comfort zone not just with the mandala image, but also with the color choice for my base.
I hate to discriminate against the color, but have really hard time with orange - usually clashes against my skin tone, so I ended up avoiding it unless in small doses.
However, this particular shade is so pretty, I thought that it will make perfect background for this manicure. I used Femme Fatale - Heart Wound.
I decided to go with my favourite technique - shadow stamping.
For stamping, I used Esmates da Kelly - Dolly and Mini Mani Moo - Black.
As you can see from the photos below, even though images are really fine lined, there was no problem in picking up the images. Should I add that at the time I did this manicure, in my polish room was 28.5*C!
That would dry your stamping polish in no time, and fine images would have hard time in transferring on. No problem here, even though I had to admit I had to be pretty quick. Did not want to push my luck here.
This looked really pretty just with black on, but I did not want this to look Halloween-ish, so I added a white to the mix, and really liked it.
To make it even more special, I added some hollow gold toned studs I purchased from Born Pretty Store few years ago.
This manicure got quite a few compliments from the clients at work, and I enjoyed wearing it myself.
You know that I have a discount code- SHGK31 that can save you 10% on all non discounted items in the store.
