With the magical Fairy Floral Gel, I was sent two brushes. First one is item #40430-2, round ended flat brush.
On my macro shots you can see how the brush has rounded edge, and very slim profile. This brush is made for the clean up, as the slim profile allows you to get in between skin and the nail, and remove the excess polish, without removing it off of the nail.
I am apologizing ahead of the time for the weird skin tone... I used soft neon as a base for this manicure, and my camera just went berserk...
Base I used is by Color Club - Feathered Hair Out To There.
I used this brush to create a floral manicure, and final result reminded me of Columbine flower. At the time I did this manicure, columbine flowers in my garden did not bloom yet, which made me sad - I would love to have it as a prop...
For this manicure, I started by applying the matte top coat over my bright base. I used acrylic paint to paint the flowers, and matte base makes it easier for acrylic paint to adhere.
My color scheme was really simple, so I used blue and white paint, and above mentioned brush to draw the flowers, then I swirled some blue and white paint, dipped the dotted tool in, and applied dots on the nails. I absolutely love swirly pattern within each dot.
To create fade-out illusion, I used a Q-tip to smear the wet acrylic. This was the first time I used this technique, and I was pretty pleased how it ended up looking.
All was topped with another layer of matte top coat.
I hope you like the way I did those.
