This morning I was actually checking if there is actually some kind of electrical fire in my house, as smell was so strong, even though doors and windows were closed.
Here I have something done month or so ago, and it is the time to finally post it before I continue with the review of the neon collection by Heroine NYC.
I seen similar trend done with gel polishes and chrome powder, but you know that I love to complicate my life, so I used regular polishes here and multi colored foil.
I noticed that I have way too many very similar nude colored polishes, and I wanted one that would be more pink. I added few drops of fuchsia polish in, and new for me color in my collection was born...
That franken polish was the base for this manicure.
Using a striping brush, I tried to apply the foil glue, but as soon as I would apply the foil, lines that were not really thin to begin with, would become even wider. It did not help that I wanted to Add more dimension by adding little bit of black to create shadow, which in turn made my lines looking even thicker.
On thumb and index finger I reversed the process, but because my base is semi sheer, I had to use the white under it to make it as visible as it is on rest of the nails.
I really did not know how to name those, even though I wore them to work for almost a week.
It is interesting how you can change your mind on a dime - this did not ended looking the way I imagined, but I loved it. I got so many compliments wearing those, and really hated removing them.
They reminded me of pebbles, or cobblestone, but I ended up naming them as I did.
I am having some issues with the site, as some of my blogs are not showing up, even though I know I posted them, so I had to remove the photo placed in gallery. I would re-write the content, but I already deleted the photos from my computer...
I will just continue as nothing happened here, and bring you the content any time I can.
I hope you had a wonderful day and that your week is going fine so far.
Cheers!
