It still looks great, but in the process, I stepped out from the inspiration a little as positioning on the nail would be difficult if I stuck with the original. When I was done, I decided that I need some sparkle, so I played with some loose glitters. What I figured, I will blind you with glitter, and you will not be able to see any flaws!
I started with pretty ivory polish by Color Club Nail Lacquer - Bonjour Girl. I applied two coats of this pretty milky polish, and with the small brush, I proceeded with adding the gradient ribbons, mixing the polish directly on the nail to get smoother transition.
Some of the polishes used are jellies, and some are more opaque, but in the end you could not tell which one of them are which, and I liked that. I think I added crème polishes to make those more intense, as they started out much paler. Pale does not really work for me, so here we are.
Original had a lighter lines within, and some dots that I think could represent the light flare. I added them, even though I don't think they really came out like that. Maybe if I added a flares out of the dots, they would be easier to see as an source of light reflection. I don't know. One thing is computer generated print, and something totally different is painting it in 1 x 1.5 cm canvas.
Back to the intense heat, and if I am dying now, I hate to think what will happen when Summer actually arrives...
Greetings from hot Canada.
Cheers!
