Indirectly, I was also touched by this disease - My grade school friend died of the brain cancer two weeks before his first and only child was born, at age 26. It was days between diagnosis and his loosing the battle.
My sister in law lost her brother to it too, after long battle and loss of vision, he succumbed to it.
You never know where the next blow will came from, so cherish the loved ones, and tell them every day how much they mean to you. Some days, that might be the only thing that will help them go through the day, because we never know what kind of demons next person is fighting.
This is really simple manicure. I actually enjoyed the monochromatic manicure for the change.
Base is Revlon - Iconic.
Two easy coats to full opacity and a high gloss finish, even without the top coat.
Images are on MoYou London - Gothic Collection - 10 stamping plate.
Way back, I would remove the protective film right away, and would lose the track of the plates that I did not use yet...
Love the stained window look of this plate, and I used the image on the left tower, and those doves.
For stamping, I used Winstonia - Silver Bullet, and MoYou London - Frosted Lake, palest grey stamping polish that came in My Mani Box I received as a courtesy from Beautometry.
All was topped with matte top coat that ever so slightly smeared my stamping... not impressed by that...
I loved simplicity of this manicure, and raising awareness about the silent killer is always on my agenda.
Truly blessed by outpour of love and birthday wishes from my followers. I am also truly happy that due to the statutory holiday I can stay in the bed longer today.
Happy Monday to all of you that have to work today.
Cheers!
