My coworkers/bosses, surprised me on Friday with an early birthday party. And surprise was on me! My desk was all decorated with balloons even two big helium ones 5 and 0... There was surprise catered lunch for all and a chocolate cake.
I was humbled and in the same time I felt so blessed, loved and appreciated.
Totally made my day, and made this milestone memorable.
I always think of lilies as a Easter flowers, even though I have some day lilies in my garden that will start blooming next month. Easter lilies have such a heady scent, that I don't really have them often in my home.
Base for my lily is lilac crelly by Painted Polish by Lexi - Spell Squad.
Even though the first coat was pretty sheer, it was fully opaque in the second. As with all Painted Polish by Lexi polishes, we are talking about flawless formula that applies like a dream, and crelly base does not shrink down, so it is glossy and smooth even without the top coat.
This was the perfect opportunity to try out another Clear Jelly Stamper stamping plate done in collaboration with Talia's Nail Tales, CjSLC-13 (Roses Floral Garden).
For stamping, I used Hit the Bottle - Snowed in (white) + Orange you excited? (orange) and Konad - Special Yellow.
I only did one small lily on my ring finger, and big one on my thumb - I truly did not want to cover up this base.
It is Victoria Day in Canada, so I have a Monday off! Thanks heavens for the long weekends.
Have a wonderful Sunday.
Cheers!
