Company I am talking about is Gelfavor, and there are stores on eBay, AliExpress and Amazon where you can purchase their products. I placed link for the store at Ali Express.
I did pick some of the items, but I also received some extras. you can see all the goodies I received on the photo in insert, on the left
I will slowly work through the pile, and will show you pretty much every item they sent me. Only items I will not do a separate feature are gel base and top coat, as I used them in every manicure.
Interesting tidbit... When I was on the site looking up the colors, I actually just wrote codes for the colors I liked, then next day randomly picked some to send out. I also did not want to check which colors I actually ordered, so it was surprise to me too what I will received. I ended up with pink and red crème, and pink and red glitter polish! I couldn't plan this better! LOL!
The same day I received another order with little buttons that sticks on the top of the lids, and I used them right away for easier identification of the opaque gel bottles.
First one I wanted to play was the softest pink crème, GA40.
I actually did another one in a glossy version, but liked this better, so showing it first.
This is how this gel polish looks matte.
Oh, yes! I felt this would look good matte, and I am so happy that I was right. Gelfavor was kind enough to send me their gel base coat and gel top coat. It takes 2-3 coats of gel color over the gel base coat for the full opacity, and this one looks delicious. Nice, full brush that fans out perfectly for the perfect application as close as possible to the cuticles. Gel top coat has perfect consistency - Not too thin to runs down your nail and pull at the sidewalls, and not to thick to be goopy. |
What I love most from the gel is the high gloss, and as I mentioned before, I already prepared a glossy manicure using this particular color. Light colors like this one look great glossy and matte.
As you could see on the first photo, I did received a round stamping plate and stamper/scraper set.
Stamping plate is STZ-11.
Stamper head is clear - makes easier to position the image on your nail, and has enough stickiness to pick up design nicely. You might notice that some of the spots did not transfer properly, no matter how many times I picked it up, and that is the fault of the plate I am afraid, as etching is not really deep enough. It doesn't help that lines are super fine, and it is +30 C* at my polish room at the moment. We are in for another hot day in the paradise!
I figured it is a perfect sentiment to post on the Mother's Day, and show the love to all of you.
I used Esmaltes da Kelly - Max for stamping, then I added a matte top coat.
I also used Clear Jelly Stamper + BlackQueenNailsDesigns - CjS LC-02 plate for the lines and dots. I also used Essie - Good as Gold for stamping.
I loved this design very much, and actually I am veering it at the moment. :)
Have a lovely day!
Cheers!
