My Indie Polish is a Canadian Indie maker, and couple of years ago I got me a mystery grab bag, and the polish I am wearing today was one of those polishes. This was the mystery prototype, so no name, which is too bad, as I really liked this one. Here is the swatch of the mystery polish.
Image I picked for this polish is on B. Loves Plates - B.03 Mind Blown.
Initially I started with spotted gradient using different Hit the Bottle polishes, but found the effect too soft for my taste, so only my middle finger got stamped like that. Then I picked up light grey stamping polish, but hated that version too...
After that, I simply picked up black stamping polish and stamped over the middle, and continued with stamping rest of the nails.
What to tell you - I am a drama queen, and like contrast. After I added top coat, I realized that not stamping rest of the nails with spotted gradient was big mistake. I actually love how the colors are peeking behind the black. My middle nail looks like an abalone shell, and I quite liked that effect.
I will have to remember it for the next time.
Black stamping polish was Maniology - Straight-Up Black. Even though I purchased all of my Maniology items - from stamping polishes to stamping plates, you are more than welcome to use my affiliate code SANJA10 to save 10% at manilology.com. I added the links for your shopping convenience.
I was yesterday checking my garden, and some of my tulips started forming the flowers - yay!
My climbing rose started opening the leaves, same with my quince tree and with lilac in the back yard. All of those changes make me so happy! In no time my garden will become my little oasis of peace and my keeper of sanity in a crazy world we are living.
I may even go to the nursery to pick some annuals to fill in my planters...
Have an amazing day.
Cheers!
