Easter time is for me time of reflection and time of the making the peace with yourself and with the world around you.
If there is the symbol of the Easter other than chocolate, eggs, bunnies and such, that symbol would be the Easter Lily, even though lilies in my garden just broke the ground, and will be a while before I see them bloom.
We live in a different times than those we know, and that may be hard for many people on so many levels. I am truly thankful for the virtual means of communication, as those allows me to spend some precious time with my family in Europe. It is not just that we can hear each other, but we also see each other, and can at least virtually share the meal together.
What I am talking about is the reality for many immigrants and trust me, you never get over it - you always want to spend the time with your family, even though financially that is not possible.
Due to the Coronavirus crisis, this is becoming the norm for the many families that did not have that problem before... We just have to make the inner peace about it, and be grateful for the technological advances that allow us to see our loved ones, even if that is on the screen.
I have simple manicure to share with you today. This is not what I am actually wearing, I did this couple of weeks or so ago for the collab on the Instagram, to wish a happy birthday to a friend.
My pretty pink base is Color Club Nail Lacquer - In Bloom.
Love the Color Club cremes, and this one is not exception. It has smooth and easy to apply formula that was fully opaque in one smooth coat. There is fine shimmer that is more visible on the bottle than on the nail. I forgot to take the swatch photo, but I am pretty sure that I used this particular polish once before.
Geometric design in the background is on Uber Chic - 22-02 stamping plate, stamped with the shimmery pink stamping polish from Born Pretty without the name. It came in the set with couple of other stamping polishes, and with stamping plate or two... got this few years ago, and my details are little bit fuzzy...
Lily image is on Uber Chic - 5-02 stamping plate, and I used black for stamping, but found id too harsh so I badly double stamped with shimmery navy blue. Unfortunately I did not aligned my image the best...
I colored in the lily to match the one I was using for the prop. I wanted to add more, but some days less is more, and I decided to leave it where it was before I ruined it... this was one of those rare times when I actually stopped...
This is all from me, I will unwind with my boys, and with extended family with the help of video chat.
Have a blessed and peaceful day.
Cheers!
