Because whole bunch of untried powders is sitting on my desk, I decided to give it a try here.
I started with Dimension Nails - Dilophosaurus, deep burgundy creme polish with oh so smooth formula. I always thought that dark polishes look amazing on short nails, so I am rocking them lately.
On thumb, index and pinky, I rubbed some shimmer that looked nude in the jar, and I quite liked the outcome, even though the application was not totally perfect.
Stamping image is on Uber Chic - The Ultimate DIY Sweater Plate. I love sweater nails, and I got me this plate last year, but every winter it seems, I start with super short nails that really do not agree with many of those designs. Like it is not enough that my nails are not that big to begin with, but when they are short, my options are really limited.
I turned the image sideways, so I can get most of it, and for stamping, I reached for Colour Alike - Warm Sand, that actually looked identical to the color on the other nails. That was clearly a bonus here.
Ugly sweater theme is quite fuzzy defined in my head. Only those super new, gaudy ones that more often than not have obscenities on them are ugly to me.
I usually go for the different kind, and actually I do not find them ugly, as there is so much work on them if you do know how to knit. I actually appreciate the effort someone put into them.
Wishing you all a wonderful day, wherever you are.
Cheers!
