For today, I have something that reminded me of champagne bubbles.
It is actually really easy art, but you know me, I needed some sparkle - glitter was here for the rescue.
I started with one of my favorite polishes by Dimension Nails - Joey. Joey is such a pretty, soft nude, that can be worn instead of white if you do not like the stark look of white. I got my bottle from NailStuff.ca, and I added a link. Victoria is such a sweetie, I do not mind plugging her site whenever I use products purchased from her store. I also have a 10% discount code for first time shoppers that will save you money even from the sale items. This polish is out of stock at the moment, but once again, I am pretty sure you will find something that you will like there.
I paired this polish with pretty Painted Polish by Lexi - Stamped in Living Coral, which I used as an accent color on my pinky, and also for stamping image from Uber Chic - UC 3-01 stamping plate.
To make it more festive, I used glitter mixes I purchased from What's Up Nails - Berries Confetti, and Sapphire Confetti. I randomly covered some of the dots with pink, blue and gold glitters. As you can clearly see, those round glitter mixes are used often, which totally justified the purchase. Thing is I have so much loose glitters, that when I reach for the same ones over and over it makes me feel good. Also, those glitters have such a nice sparkle, it is so much fun watching the light hitting them.
To even out the surface, I used Glisten & Glow - Glitter Grabber, another purchase I am so glad I did. This you use when you have glitters, or polishes that would leave uneven surface because of the glitters - one coat then top coat, and you are golden. Otherwise it will take you several layers of top coat to even out the surface. I find that it works really well for the reflective glitters polishes.
After couple of warm days above the zero, we are back in minus. Do I even need to talk about the mess left after rain that made packed snow slushy and messy, that is now frozen mess... I am so glad I do not need to deal with this for another few days.
Have a wonderful day, be safe and stay safe.
Cheers!
