I was so mesmerised with it, I completely lost the common sense to take a swatch photo. I will have to correct that in the future.
Formula of Madder is absolute perfection, it applies smooth like butter, and has excellent coverage. It could be one coater if you apply with a heavier hand... That said, I did not had a chance to test it for stamping, but I promise I will not let you wait for long.
I did not want to cover all of this beauty with stamping, so I just stamped ornament image from Moyra No.105 My Real Intention.
Because image is really ornate, I wanted simplicity in color and stamping. I did not want stamping to overshadow the polish, so I used regular polish for stamping, and proved to be quite good stamping polish to my huge surprise. My regular turned stamping polish is Nicole by OPI - Light the candle.
My intention was soft look, little bit on Victorian style, but instead of soft mauve, this polish looks almost silver when stamped. To be honest, I did not wear it in ages, so I can not remember how it actually looks on the nails on its own.
All in all I was pretty happy with the way this looked, and would wear it longer than two days, but I was empting the printing paper out of the box, and somehow I got a little chip. There is nothing that would get me as the cracked or chipped polish would. Couldn't even wait to get home to remove it. Good thing that I wear peal off base coat, so I was able to remove the polish without help of nail polish remover within the minutes.
My tree is decorated, and my nails have a fresh coat of polish. How about you? Are you ready for Christmas?
Plan is to do some baking this weekend, but will see how that would go.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend,
Cheers!
