Theme was 'ugly pretty' colors and literary, but I was so excited about first part, that I glazed over the second... ooopsie.
Thing is that I could not think of the book that could relate to those images LOL!
As you can tell, I have few of those colors on my shelf, as I also share the love of unusual color, and was more than happy to use some.
As a base on all but my ring finger I used super pretty Different Dimension - Not in the loop. I did swatch on my long nails, but manicure was Halloween related, and with all the happenings in my life around that time, I never managed to post that...
On my pinky you can actually see it, as that is the only nail I did not covered up with stamping.
Not in the loop is Limited Edition, and was a love at the first sight. I had to have it. Super unique- mossy mustardy green base with contrasting copper shimmers that shows different in different lighting conditions is welcome addition to my collection. So happy that this polish meets all of my expectations and then some. Love, love, love.
I added textured accent nail. Textured beauty is Deborah Lippmann - I wanna be sedated, and was one of the lucky finds from Marshals this summer! You should see me bee line for the checkouts as soon I had it in my hot little hand.
Loving everything about this - texture, formula, color. Having no idea what took me so long to try this one out! Once again, I did my best in covering up this polish to the full, so you can bet your Christmas cookies, there will be manicure with that polish in near future!
I was super tempted to leave this as is, but then I looked in my stamping polish stash, and found couple that matched the description, so I settled on Esmaltes da Kelly crème stamping polishes in Faisca (deep military green) and Tigar (mustard). I decided to stamped with them over the shimmery Not in the loop.
I double stamped image from Mexerdoo B6 stamping plate, and I used the same plate for the image on my ring finger.
For that, I went with a shimmery, metallic stamping polish by DRK Nails - Copper. Effect that I achieved was of the one on Not in the loop, I have to remember that. Loved the unusual, and kind of retro color scheme here.
All I want to do at this moment is to wish you all wonderful weekend.
Cheers!
