I thought it would go nice with my red furniture (you can see it in the background) and my green walls, and I was right. This may not be everybody's cup of tea, but I like it. Thing is, this room always made me happy, and was one of the rooms in the house that came out exactly how I envisioned it.
Now, when this is my nail room, I love it even more.
Truth is, ever since I have this cushion cover, I thought it would make for a nice nail art. Now this was moved from my bucket list ;D.
Rest of the colors used for this were:
White - Essence - Snow Alert!
Yellow - Essence - Fortune Cookie
Brown - Sally Hansen - All bark
Dark green - Sally Hansen - Jumpin' Jade
Light green is Moyra stamping polish #15 - Light Green
Red - MoYou London - Electric Crimson.
For stripes, I used dreaded striping tape - I applied strips of striping tape on my mat, applied polish, removed tape and let it dry. When dried, using tweezers, I detached strips of the polish off of the mat, and applied them over the white base. My application may not be the perfect, but this was much better than trying to do this on the nail while thinking about thickness of the strips and positioning of the strips on the nail. This was great time and mind saver, because I have a slight impression that this process on the nail would drive me insane...
I hope you will like this manicure, as I am not quite sure about it.
Have a warm and safe day!
Cheers.
