I know, from time to time, I do find myself posting something appropriate.
That said, this one did not turn the way I wanted...
I started with coat of OPI - Put a coat on! as a base for a smoosh... I talked about this technique, but I never shown you what I do...
I remembered to take photos step by step and I made quick collage to demonstrate.
Polishes I used are following: Painted Nail by Nubar - Marie-Claire Shines, Sally Hansen - Babe Blue and Joe Fresh - Iris.
You just add random drops of the polish on the stamper head, and then press it onto your nail. You can dab it until you reach desired marbled effect. Beauty of this technique is that every nail is uniquely patterned, and it looks pretty cool on its own.
I immediately removed cuticle guard, and there was really just a tiny bit of the clean up to do. On the second to last photo you can see how pretty this color combination looked smooshed all together.
I proceeded with making decals for middle and ring finger.
On my middle finger, I used igloo image that is on Born Pretty BP-45 stamping plate. For stamping, I used MdU - White, and I filled in decal with sheer white polish to give it icy look over my base. I also dotted some "snow" around and on the top of it.
Cute little polar bear is on Bundle Monster BM-S156 stamping plate, and on this image, bear is surrounded with triangles, but I removed all but ones on the bottom. For picking up the image I used MdU - Black, and triangles are filled with three polishes I used for smoosh.
Other fingernails got a coat of Essence - Snow effect top coat.
