Rain started on Saturday, and was on and off all day yesterday. June first, and I need a sweater when walking to work... totally weird.
On the plus side, my flower garden absolutely loves this weather. Milder temperatures and plenty of rain, made them all so lush and green. It is getting hard to keep up with the grass, and I will not even start on the weeds.
Today I am showing you one of the manicures I prepared for the last month's What's Up Nails Challenge.
This was one of the better attempts at using the vinyls, but even that was not good enough for me. I had a better attempt with the X Stencils, and this one was pushed back.
Here I used What's Up Nails - Skinny Zig Zag Tape I purchased forever ago, and attempted using once before...
As a base here I used A England - Ascalon. Ascalon is pretty neutral grey holographic polish with lilac shimmers. As with all A England polishes, formula is fantastic, and applies smooth like a butter.
Once again, I tried different ways of using this Skinny Zig Zag Tape - directly on my nail, on my stamper and on my mat.
Once again, mat produced the best results, even though I rushed the decals, and they warped a bit as they were not quite dry and ready for the peel off... yeah - patience is not my virtue.
Colors I picked were all stamping polishes by Hit the Bottle - Snowed in, Bubble Gum Bliss, Psycho Pink and High Voltage Violet.
They are really sad looking, but political situation in the neighbouring United States is pretty sad too.
Rioting and unrest are result of oppression. It was matter of time things reach the boiling point, point of no return. Sadly, every change needs time, and this one is long overdue.
My hearts are with all of those whose rights as well as safety is challenged on a daily basis.
With this depressing thought, I will sign off and wish you all a good week.
Cheers!
