While ago, Cici&Sisi sent me few plates to review, and this was the only plate I did not post the review for. Worst part is that I actually made the manicure, but life happened, and time passed, and this stayed in my unposted folder... it happens sometimes.
I used plate from the Zodiac Collection - Zodiac-CX1003.
So here is my belated review of this plate. I do own several acrylic plates, some of them I purchased myself, some of them (like 90% off of my Cici&Sisi ones) were sent to me.
I found that acrylic plates can be tricky, and it is really important to know that in this case money will get you quality. First of all, this plates will actually allow you to see the image without trying to guess what kind of image you are getting, it is in many ways like looking on to the metal plate.
Images do pick up cleanly here, unlike the other plastic or acrylic or how ever you want to call them. Trust me, I do know what I am talking about. One more thing - while the 'other' ones look stained after the first use, you can actually clean this one pretty easily, and looks like this after few uses too.
I am not sure if Cici&Sisi used some kind of the different coating, but whatever their secret is, it works.
Interesting enough, I used exactly the same color scheme. I guess, this plate speak 'blue' to me.
This is the look that I created the first time around. I used Sally Hansen and Crayola - Cerulean and Kleancolor - Blue-eyed girl (glitter).
First of all, my base color choice is almost identical. I used Heroine NYC - Royal Blood.
It seamed that I could not even step away from the stamping polish color scheme... in both occasions, I used Winstonia - Silver Bullet. When I clued in that I should look into my own unposted folder, I almost had a goosebumps! I was copying myself, or even worse, I was repeating myself. Actually, I am not sure which one is worse here.
All that said, I am now bound to show you my new version of the old manicure, and please, do not hold your breath!
Well, here goes my originality bubble! I guess, this manicure was begging to get out, and I was just a helpless pawn of my own imagination.
Good for you, because I can remind you that I do have a discount code that can save you 10% off of your purchase, and there is quite a range of products you can pick from. All you need is to type Sanja in that box at the checkout to save some $$$.
Have a fun day!
