Just because I used some somber colors in last few posts, I will start with something bright and vibrant.
You can purchase the whole set, and you can find it in the store by typing in the following SKU: ZHSP0640, or just by clicking on link provided, or if you want, by typing in the product URL: https://www.beautybigbang.com/products/6pcs-set-colorful-nail-stamping-polish-nail-art-plate-printing-varnish .
Each polish is available individually, and first one I will show you has SKU: J6536TM-17A, or URL: https://www.beautybigbang.com/collections/new-arrival/products/9ml-lemon-yellow-nail-stamping-polish-for-nail-plate-printing-varnish .
Polish is named or should I say misnamed Lemon Yellow. I am not sure about you, but there is nothing lemony about this shade - I would call it mustard yellow or ochre (clay pigment).
I loved this color in the bottle. I actually have similar polish in a regular polish, and I did wear it last week, so I was so excited to see this color in the line up.
I always try to show you stamping polishes over different colors, so you can have idea how well certain polishes would stamp.
So here it goes nothing...
I started by applying the Lemon Yellow on my pinky and thumb, and I was not impressed from the get go.
Stamping polishes should be super opaque, so they could be visible over the dark colors.
This one looked more like jelly, pretty sheer, and even after two coats, this was still not opaque.
This was kind of downer, as I was really looking forward having the mustard color stamping polish.
That said, Beauty Big Bang still have time to fix the formula, and that is the whole purpose of the review - to give a company a feedback about the product to make it better in the future.
I hate giving the negative reviews, and I could just show you this polish in a manicure over the white, as it stamps marvelously over the white, and no one would be smarter.
It would look good, but would not be honest, and that goes against my grain.
I used this polish over the white - NCLA - Ahoy, my love; grey - China Glaze - Pelican Gray and black - Sinful Colors - Black on Black.
Polish performed well over light and medium colors, but sadly, was not saturated enough for the black.
That said, I will still use this polish over the light colors, or just like a regular polish. Either way, it will not go to waste.
Because this color reminded me of ochre, that very specific color in my mind is connected with Africa, and I went with tribal kind of design.
For stamping, I used another Beauty Big Bang product, stamping plate BBBXL-060, and you can click on the provided link to see the plate in the store.
In the end, I added a square gold stud, as it was almost impossible to see the stamping over the black.
In the end, I loved the look of this manicure, and I hope you will too.
For all of you, I do have a discount code HEFER, that will save you 10% on everything in the store, even the sale items.
