Something like that happened here. It all started a OK, and than took turn or two, maybe even three. I know, I am that kind of gal that like to complicate the simplest of the things.
As I said, all started well with me layering two super bright, neon yellow polishes by Different Dimension - Dope (crème) went on first, and then I added Sloth for the good measure.
Honestly, this was so pretty, I have to pair those again this Summer just for the fun!
After that things started to unravel.
I stamped the dotted gradient using Maniology stamping polishes, even added some dots for more dotty look.
First I picked image that totally got lost in the mess, quickly painted that nail to cover some of the failure and proceeded with picking another design all together.
Now, that looked pretty good with just a black. Of course I did not took the photos of that stage - I was not done yet!
Picked the holographic gold stamping polish by Hit the Bottle - Glint of Gold, and double stamped the image... Not bad, but I liked the sharp contrast much more.
All images are on FabUrNails - FUN20 plate. Mind, that is pretty plate, but I was totally out of my game this day.
Needless to say, I just scraped it all off as soon as I took the photos and started fresh... But you know, I was really fine with that. You can't win them all, and some days things just do not work out the way we hope for, no matte what we do, or don't do. It is just the way life goes.
Line from the old movie goes something like this: "Some days you are the bug, and some days you are the windshield."
On that gross mental image, I will sign out while I am still ahead!
Have yourself a wonderful day.
Cheers!
