Thing is, last week I broke my no-buy to purchase some Parrot Polishes, and I figured I should use the one I did not tried yet from the last order, before my shipment arrives.
Good news - my shipment arrived yesterday, and you can expect another Parrot manicure really soon.
Polish I never came around using is Parrot Polish - White gold. This is stunning topper. It looks white in the bottle, but depending of the base color you use it, it will change color from iridescent to gold. How cool is that. I used it over white base - OPI - Put a coat on! - two coats of White gold. I love subtle gold sheen, but did not have much luck in photographing it.
I proceeded with adding more gold to this, in a way of stamping. I stamped snowflake image from UR Beautiful- 17 using Maybelline - Bold gold.
Actually, I thought this was pretty as is, but of course, I had to add more. On this photo you can actually see little bit of the gold shift. It is not in-your-face kind of shift, but is nice surprize when you move your hand and light hits it from a different angle.
I also have my Winstonia plates that I never got around using, and I figured it is great time to break them in... This plate was picked by hubby - he did not leave me alone to browse the store until he seen it in my basket. He told me I need it. Truth is, I only owned one (very similar) image, so in a way, he was right. I gained many unique images, and I love that there are few smaller images that can be used singe, or in combination with others. This plate is named Hunter's life.
I loved image of the tree brunch which I first stamped with Mundo de Unas - Copper, then with White, and the image of the buck was first stamped with Mundo de Unas - Black, then with Cooper.
This must of been some kind of paradise, when that buck can frolic through the snow and try to capture snowflake on his tongue, without any fear from hunters. They are not allowed in paradise.
To make this more magical, I added rhinestone in the center of every snowflake... Yes, I know... glitter and rhinestones again... :D .
Those are last snowflakes you will see from me - I promise.
See you tomorrow.
