My special discount code is SANJA10.
So far, all products I used I purchased myself. However, last week I received a cute little parcel from Maniology (formerly Bundle Monster) containing cute metallic stickers, some rub on decals (I never used those before), stamping plate, some business cards, and two more big stickers I forgot to put in the photo I quickly snapped with my phone. Sorry, never thought grabbing my big camera, so quality of this photo is not as high as I would like.
For today's manicure I used one of those metallic gold stickers.
I started with a super pretty Parrot Polish - Heavenly Body.
This polish was purchased few years ago, and it may not be available any more for the purchase.
I thought that deep navy would offset the gold metallic stickers quite nicely.
Anyhow, sheet is full of butterflies - single and groups, some dragonflies and some tulips.
I decided to go with winged images, hence my title - wings of gold.
It is hard to see from my photo, but those gold stickers were not really shiny, and that was one of my concerns. I used tweezers to remove sticker from the backing and to apply it to my nails. While ago I purchased some stickers that I never used because they were too thick and would just stick up, no matter how much top coat I applied in vain attempt to keep them snugly on the nail. Have to say that I had no problems with ones I received from Maniology.
They are thin, and they stuck to the nail and stayed that way.
I was contemplating applying the water based top coat to protect finish, but went with the regular top coat and BAM! I was dully impressed how those dull stickers turned out to be high shine metallic and looked like a foil that is perfectly applied. That made it pain to photograph as they would reflect the light, and sides would look invisible...
I took plenty of photos, and was pleasantly surprised how they turned out. I even starting this with photo of both hands wearing those wonderful stickers.
Have a wonderful week.
Cheers!
