Thing is, for a couple of months, I went through shopping frenzy, and I would forgot what I ordered, and that I ordered it! That is why I am on a no-buy... to calm down...
After few weeks lapsed, I decided to apply one of those two polishes from Dazzle Glaze - Take back your pearls. And surprize was on me...
As you can tell from my collage above, color difference is quite noticeable. In a warm state, it is super pale, almost white shimmery polish, that is pretty on its own.
I like it the best in in-between state when it looks like pretty soft gradient.
My polish room is a coldest room in the house, and trying to photograph this one in a warm state was a challenge... Thing is, as soon as I finish painting my nails. my hands turns to block of ice... not sure why, and I need some time to get my regular, warm hands back... That may be the reason why on some photos my hands look so creased and on some not. It is bitter cold right now, and that sure shows on my photos.
I usually do my nails after the work, and before bed time, and I really do not have all day for my body temperature to even out, and then to attempt to take photos....
On the swatch, I am wearing two coats, and no top coat. Polish dries fairly quick, and to a satin finish. Polish is full of subtle gold shimmer- If for nothing else, I love it for this shimmer.
I paired this thermal polish with a really soft stamping...
For stamping I used image from BC-07 stamping plate, and for stamping I decided on Esmaltes da Kelly - Doguito - soft beige stamping polish. I was not going for dramatic, but for a soft look here.
On index and pinky, I added some white striping tape and little pearly bows. Pearly bows are playing on the name of the polish - Take your pearls back.
Even though this was not my intention, this manicure kind of reminded me of weddings and wedding cake, and that made it perfect for this time of the year. It is lovely, and not-in-your-face Valentine's design.
I hope you will like it too.
Cheers!
