I did this manicure few weeks ago, for Beautometry nail challenge.
Perfect military green is China Glaze - Don't get derailed.
Few posts back, I have shown you Kelly Negri KN24 stamping plate, and I already used some of the layering designs (Mermaid scales, Triple Hearts), and now was the time to use camouflage - and perfect timing also.
For stamping, I used Esmaltes da Kelly - Doguito, Kaleidoscope St- 01 Black and St -85 Brown. Shades of the colors used for camouflage differ from country to country, the same as the pattern. They are all little bit different. Colors also change for the different times of the year or climate. This is again one of the trivial things I picked up and for some strange reason stored in my brain - for which purpose? Heavens knows - considering that I am pacifist, and dislike any kind of weaponry.
On my ring finger, I stamped chevron design from Clear Jelly Stamper CjS06 stamping plate, using Hit the Bottle - Hello Buttercup. This reminded me of epaulets on the military uniform. Amount of 'stripes' indicates the military rank.
Words on ring finger and on pinky are shadow stamped using first Kaleidoscope St-01 Black, then Esmaltes da Kelly - Doguito. Images are from MoYou Nails 115 stamping plate.
When I finished those, I first thing that popped to my mind was M.A.S.H. - I loved watching that show, and Alan Alda was brilliant there. His deadpan expressions to extremely abnormal conditions kept me in stitches.
Have a wonderful day everyone.
