I wanted to do a manicure that would have the watercolor feel, and this is what I did just in time for the Valentine's.
I started with creamy white polish, and over it I applied pink aurora pigment.
After sealing this with water based top coat, I started with the painting the hearts.
I used some purchased jelly polishes, and some of the franken ones. How do you franken jellies? It is super easy. I mix some top coat with the nail polish, and mix until desired color and opacity.
I absolutely loved how this came together, especially my ring finger, where I used some brighter, lighter colors.
All was topped with glossy top coat.
I also love that my hearts almost have the look of the jelly, all squishy and shiny.
My yesterday was busy at work, and I am still playing catch up with the stuff that waited for me while I was away, recovering from the surgery.
Thankfully, almost all the snow that came upon us on weekend, was melted under yesterday's sun. You can definitively feel the warmth of the sun now. If we are to trust the forecast, we should expect the early spring. I hope this really comes true. We are fed the same story each year, hopefully this is the year that will be truly one with the early spring.
Have an amazing day everyone.
Cheers!
