Itarted with milky white by Essie - Tuck it in my tux. This was a bridal collection couple of years ago, and I purchased few polishes from this collection, not knowing that they are semi-sheer. I did not care about milky finish then, but I am giving them all the love now. Isn't is just crazy how we change the perception and tastes with time?!
Over this base I used some Watercolor inks I got from Born Pretty Store way back. They are meant for the gel polishes, as they are not like alcohol inks that can be diluted, or played with by little bit of alcohol, those that I have need acetone, which is not most friendly for the regular nail polishes. I am getting the hang of the technique, so I am looking forward using them again. I only have two - and both are used here. I have a plum purple and navy blue. I also have some shimmery inks from Madam Glam, so I may play with all of them at once... but I am jumping ahead of the time here.
When I was happy with the look, I added "overlapping frames" in three different metallic finishes: metallic purple, gold and rose gold.
I was so hyped about results, that instead just leaving the design on middle and ring finger, I had to play and add more on index and pinky.
This was so lovely, I done it on both hands, and there were so many compliments on this set. It looked like a marble and everyone loved it, most of all I loved them.
Hopefully your week is going well.
Cheers!
