We are having incredible, sunny day with the blue sky and fluffy white clouds... And here I am with some "watercolor" look.
I started with Bio Seaweed Gel - Be Bio - Silver Lining. It kind of go with those white fluffy clouds I mentioned few seconds ago. LOL!
Silver Lining is shimmery, brilliant white polish, and it is giving me the 80s vibes, as I was wearing polishes like this one - "frosty" kind, with "frosty" lipsticks that look awful on me, but that was the fashion then. I did not really wear shimmery lipsticks ever since! I guess I am all grown up and could not care less what kind of finish is in... That said, when it comes to lipstick, I actually prefer it matte over glossy, total opposite from my nails. Who knew!
Back to the topic. Over this base, I applied some metallic inks from Madam Glam, which I've got as a part of PR few years back. They are not alcohol inks, so they can not be blended with alcohol, but are reacting with nail polish remover, and considering that I was using regular nail polish, that option was out of window. I also learned during the time I own them to stay away from the skin, as they stain the skin something terrible.
I still liked the way they looked, and I did overlap some of them so I got little bit more shades that way.
I had yellow, orange, red and green, and I wish I had other colors too.
When ink dried (it only takes few seconds), I stamped images from Nicole Diary - L21 stamping plate. I stamped all images with black, then I double stamped one image on each nail with white.
I really loved the look this created, even though it was pain in the neck to photograph this.
I tried against darker and lighter background, and below are results.
I always find it fun to play with different mediums and try different things, and this was certainly one of those times.
I hope you will have an amazing day.
Cheers!
