Once upon a time I was an avid knitter, and would design my own sweaters. I would mix the patterns and/colors, and had a closet full on one-of-the-kind creations my sister liked to sneak out of my closet. Times changed since than, and I do not knit on the regular basis any more, but my sister started creating with yarn, and in the process she made few bucks. Sad reality is that she could have more orders than she could handle if she would have the time...
Time is something we so sorely missing in today's world. Everyone is always so busy and always in so much rush, we truly need to make a time to smell the roses for our own good!
To be honest, I would love to make me a sweater using those colors.
I started with Zoya - Sam.
I kind of felt bad for covering it up...
Images I used are on Chaomao - 24, plate I purchased on Ali Express ages ago. Interesting tidbit is that I never seen this brand of stamping plates before, and no matter how hard I searched, I did not find any plate with number below 24, or above for that matter.
I was not going for the loud design, so I went with soft color scheme, and color on color is my favourite thing of all.
For stamping I picked Colour Alike - Cherry Tomato. Cherry Tomato is bright metallic red, and I love the contrast of matte base with metallic or holographic polishes.
This stamping polish is amazing, but I was afraid that fine lines would be lost here, so I double stamped images, and in hindsight I wish I did not. My precision left lots to be desired, and no matter that I got a few new pairs of glasses few weeks ago, I must say that I have a hard time seeing where I stamp...
In the end, I added a matte top coat, but I am wondering which one do you like better - Glossy or Matte?
We are one day closer to the weekend, YAY!
It was a trying week with all the health issues I am having, I can't wait to spend couple of days at home.
To all of you I am wishing a wonderful day.
Cheers!
